Eglise Sainte Croix
Saint Croix's Church dates back to the 11th century but has been remodelled in the 15th and 18th centuries. It has a distinctive feature, which is unique Normandy: there is a gentle slope from the nave up to the altar. Inside, have a look at the enclosed pews, witnesses to the inhabitants' daily lives: numbers on the door, missal boxes, hat hooks, etc. The framework is shaped like an inverted boat hull. From the church, you can go for a walk along the Mont du Bourg promenade with its hundred-year-old horse chestnuts and its pretty view over the village and the Pays d’Auge.
