Starting from La Roche-Guyon, pedal for a few kilometers to reach the village of Giverny. The unmissable house of Claude Monet opens its doors to you. Take the time to stroll through the garden and admire the bridge from the famous Water Lilies painting. With your head full of impressionist colors, follow the Seine towards Vernon. After passing through blooming landscapes and typical Norman villages, take a break by the Bouafles pond, home to remarkable wildlife and flora. Continue your ride towards Les Andelys, and Château Gaillard which dominates the valley: stop to admire its ruins. After this medieval break, continue your path between the chalk cliffs and the Seine. Get ready for a race against a loaded barge. 3, 2, 1, pedal! The finish line is at Léry-Poses: choose between sports activities, swimming, or relaxation. After this moment of relaxation, get back on your bike towards Pont-de-l'Arche: watch the Eure merge into the Seine. Follow the river towards Rouen: a trip to Seine-Maritime is a must. The impressionist paintings from the start of the itinerary give way to the port scenery. Rouen is the leading cereal export port in Europe! You now face a dilemma: swim across the Seine or use the ferry to reach La Bouille? We recommend the second option... Don't delay in getting back on your bike to discover the apple, pear, plum, or cherry orchards, heavy with juicy and sweet fruits in season. Take the opportunity to visit local producers, who offer plenty of gourmet specialties. To conclude this stage beautifully, load your bikes onto the Yville-sur-Seine ferry to reach Jumièges and "the most beautiful ruin in France," according to Victor Hugo. On your bikes, you will cross the typical villages of Eure, Aizier, and Vieux-Port, in the heart of the Pays des Chaumières. A sporty climb followed by a descent towards Marais-Vernier, a bird migration corridor. After observing the birds, head towards Honfleur: the last stage of the Seine à Vélo in Eure! Slow down to appreciate the peaceful landscape of the Norman countryside before climbing the famous Pont de Normandie: admire the view of the sea. Want to continue your route? Pedal towards Deauville, the Paris of the sea...
